Explore Gunung Leuser National Park
Meet your experienced local guide at around 9:00 am before crossing the Bohorok River by traditional boat into Gunung Leuser National Park. Enjoy a guided trek through one of the world's oldest tropical rainforests while searching for semi-wild Sumatran Orangutans and other fascinating wildlife.
Along the way, your guide will introduce you to the rainforest ecosystem, medicinal plants, and the unique wildlife of Gunung Leuser National Park, including Thomas Leaf Monkeys, Long-tailed Macaques, Pig-tailed Macaques, Hornbills, and many other rainforest species.
