Day 1

Into Gunung Leuser National Park

Start your day with a relaxed breakfast before meeting your local guide between 9:00 am. Begin your adventure with a peaceful boat ride across the Bohorok River, followed by a gentle walk through rubber plantations into Gunung Leuser National Park.

Keep your eyes on the treetops as you search for semi-wild Sumatran Orangutans, Thomas Leaf Monkeys, Long-tailed Macaques, Pig-tailed Macaques, and many other fascinating rainforest species.

Camp Under The Rainforest Canopy

Arrive at your riverside campsite in the afternoon. Relax with tea or coffee, enjoy a refreshing swim, and finish the day with a delicious homemade dinner before gathering around the campfire.

Day 2

Explore Deeper Into The Rainforest

Wake up to the sounds of the jungle before setting off on another full day of trekking through untouched rainforest. Discover hidden trails and increase your chances of spotting rare wildlife.

Second Jungle Camp

End the day at another beautiful campsite where your guide prepares a traditional dinner before another peaceful night beneath the stars.

Day 3

Wildlife Discovery Trek

Continue your adventure through one of Southeast Asia's richest ecosystems. Today's route offers excellent opportunities to encounter Sumatran Orangutans, Thomas Leaf Monkeys, Silver Leaf Monkeys, Siamangs, White-handed Gibbons, Hornbills, and many other rainforest inhabitants.

Overnight In The Jungle

Arrive at your remote campsite beside a river or waterfall. Enjoy a warm dinner and fall asleep to the soothing sounds of the rainforest.

Day 4

Final Trek & Jungle Taxi Return

Wake up to the peaceful sounds of the rainforest and enjoy your final breakfast at the campsite. Begin your last trek through Gunung Leuser National Park, taking time to search for more wildlife and enjoy the incredible rainforest scenery one last time.

Return To Bukit Lawang
