Day 1

Explore Gunung Leuser National Park

Start your adventure after breakfast by meeting your local guide at around 9:00 am. Cross the Bohorok River by traditional boat before entering Gunung Leuser National Park. Trek through the lush rainforest while searching for semi-wild Sumatran Orangutans and other incredible wildlife, including Thomas Leaf Monkeys, Long-tailed Macaques, Pig-tailed Macaques, Hornbills, and many rainforest birds.

Jungle Taxi Return

After lunch, continue your trek through the rainforest before finishing the adventure with the famous Jungle Taxi (river tubing). Float down the Bohorok River back to Bukit Lawang and arrive in the afternoon with unforgettable memories of your one-day rainforest experience.
